How Can I Get Involved at St. James'?

St. James is a warm, caring community. You will be warmly welcomed and shown respect for where you are in your faith journey, whether that means taking things slow and easy or jumping right in. The important thing is that we want you to enjoy worshiping with us.

You can be a member of our church and community by just continuing to come to church services. We have many annual events where we come together as a cooperative spirit. These are events where you will have fun and will continue meeting others. You may wish to become involved in a ministry or a parish happening. There are many outreach opportunities. Please explore our website to discover all of the opportunities for involvement awaiting you here at St. James.

Do you want to connect with us? Simply fill out the newcomer's information section on our website, and submit. In doing so, you will be placed on our email list, and will begin receiving the church newsletters. You may wish to have one of the clergy visit you, and there will be a place to indicate this in the newcomer's information section.

There are also newcomer's information cards hanging at the end of each pew. You may elect to fill out the paper version of the newcomer's form. If so, please place in the offering plate, or give it to one of the clergy.

Our goal is to make you fell accepted and welcome; knowing that levels of involvement is a personal decision. After a while, you may find that it is very rewarding to become involved in our church.
